Young centre Sione Tuipulotu has been earmarked for a future in professional Rugby for a long time.The nineteen year old centre was signed by the Melbourne Rebels late last year alongside fellow Victorian teenager Rob Leota, and represents one half of the first ever homegrown players signed by the Club.
It comes on the back of a lot of hard work which has seen Sione represent Victoria at almost every underage level, as well as playing for the Melbourne Rising in the 2015 Buildcorp NRC and playing for Australia at both Schoolboys and U20s level.
Back in December 2015, Sione was among the 30 young professionals who attended The Rugby Union Players’ Association (RUPA) Induction Camp, held at the Crowne Plaza in Coogee.
