The Rugby Union Players' Association (RUPA) joined other members of the Rugby family on Wednesday to reflect upon two decades of professionalism for the sport in Australia.
With former Wallabies in the room including RUPA President Benn Robinson, Stirling Mortlock AM, Owen Finegan, Nick Farr-Jones, Rod Kafer and Phil Kearns, as well as a bevvy of former administrators and current Waratahs stars Andrew Kellaway and Jed Holloway, the 'Show Me The Money' lunch provided an insight behind the scenes into how the game changed forever when it revoked amateur status through the 'Ferrier Agreement'.
Kearns joined James Erskine, former Australian Rugby Union CEO Bruce Hayman and Geoff Levy AO on a panel, with emcee Gordon Bray AM taking us back to 1995 with his insightful questions of the special guests and former ARU President Phil Harry AM.
RUPA was delighted to support the event, held at The Rugby Club, hosting not only former and current professional players but also a number of our current sponsors who were able to network amongst one another and get to know each other's business.
