RUPA’s Official Recruitment Partner, Robert Walters, recently presented a career development series for the NSW Waratahs players, spanning three sessions at NSW Rugby Union Headquarters.
The sessions included:
- Beyond the Field: Soft Skills and Networking
- Own Brand and Marketing Yourself
- CV Writing and LinkedIn: Building Your Professional Presence
The Robert Walters team, consisting of Andrew Hanson, Robert Kruger, Alison Newsome, Sarah Gillard and Dan Connors, provided actionable strategies to equip players for a successful transition into the job market after their rugby careers. Within the sessions included information on personal branding, networking, interviewing, CV writing, and LinkedIn, giving players a comprehensive toolkit to begin crafting their professional profiles while still active in their sports careers.
