Accredited Agents Information
The Australian Rugby Player Agent Accreditation Scheme (Scheme) was introduced in 2007 to ensure that individuals and organisations representing Australia’s professional rugby players demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding of Australian Rugby contracting.
Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Rugby Bodies (Rugby Australia and the State Unions) are required to engage only with agents accredited under the Scheme, who are also bound by a Code of Conduct and Regulations.
The Scheme is designed to ensure that accredited agents have a thorough understanding of the regulations, codes and policies that apply to rugby players. To maintain accreditation, agents are required to hold a minimum level of professional indemnity insurance and attend mandatory workshops and conferences as directed by the Player Agent Accreditation Board.
The Accredited Agent Information Flyer includes information on Accredited Agent benefits; as well as links to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Scheme documentation, Rugby AU Codes & Policies, World Rugby Regulations, and contact details for key staff across Australian Rugby.
